Epis (Haitian Seasoning Base)

This Homemade seasoning base is the perfect element to spice up your food. This Garlic base base can be used in pretty much any savoury dish. I personally started to use it to season my meats and to give some extra flavor to my sauces.

Servings : 3 cups


12 garlic cloves, coarsely chopped
1 small onion, chopped
1/4 red bell pepper, chopped
1/4 orange bell pepper, chopped
6 scallions, chopped
1 cup chopped parsley leaves
1/4 cup olive or canola oil
1 1/4 cup white vinegar
2 tbsp lemon pepper
Salt and pepper to taste


Add all the ingredients asides the vinegar to a food processor or blender until smooth while gradually adding the vinegar.
